Hello St Joseph’s Helpers Supporters,                      

In our first full year, St Joseph’s Helpers has been true to our mission of providing those most in need with basic home maintenance and repairs. From fixing leaky faucets to installing grab bars and railings, our team of volunteers spares no effort to bring joy and hope into the homes of those who in need. In 2023, we are so excited to have gained more than 100 volunteers and served clients, in 60 different communities across Southeastern Michigan—just in our first year alone!

But numbers fail to tell the true impact of St Joseph’s Helpers. Recently we met Carol. She has been in and out of the hospital due to falling in her own bathroom—the most dangerous place in a home. St Joseph’s Helpers volunteers were called in, assessed the situation, and installed grab bars wherever needed. This simple task changed her life, offering Carol protection, dignity, and independence. 

“My grab bars are wonderful. I no longer need as much help getting in and out of my tub now.”

As we look to 2024, St Joseph’s Helpers goal is to serve even more Carols. We need your support to accomplish this. We need your prayers, we need you to volunteer, and today, we need your financial support. Our ability to make a difference relies heavily on the generosity of individuals like you.
