We are thrilled to introduce our Campus Helpers! This program is an extension of St. Joseph's Helpers which offers learning opportunities while you serve and make a difference!
Campus Helpers will work in our office with our staff and volunteers, or in the field with experienced professionals. Students can earn credits for service, build career-ready skills, and gain hands-on experience.
Those interested can contact us or fill out a volunteer form. We look forward to working with you!
In 2011, Julie Kennedy-Carpenter created Julie’s List to equip social workers and help professionals with a user-friendly tool for finding vital community resources. What began as a personal mission to ease the burden of navigating social services has grown into a powerful online database that brings help within reach for those who need it most.
Julie’s List offers a wide range of support services for the elderly, people with disabilities, individuals facing mental and physical health challenges, caregivers, survivors of abuse, the unemployed, and the unhoused. It also thoughtfully includes programs that serve specific ethnic and religious groups, recognizing the importance of culturally sensitive care.
They did a really good job. The way they attached the railing was impressive. They took their time, to make sure it was most secure and I am so very satisfied with their demonstration of care on how they did the work. The guys were courteous and just nice, cool guys.
I was very pleased with the job done. The railings were very much needed, because I was in the hospital and had surgery. I thought that coming home was going to be a problem, but instead it was a blessing!
My 100 yr old house was not wired properly, so if the lights were on in the kitchen, they would shut off outside, etc. They replaced the outlets with new ones. Despite the difficulty, they worked at it and the work was done on time. They were awesome and patient!
Two grab bars were installed. They were wonderful and very nice!
A ramp was installed to help me care for my daughter. They were good. Everything they did out here I couldn't ask for better. They all worked so good together, if one was doing something and finished, he went to help the others. They worked together as a team.
I needed the shower head fixed. It was done very good and they did a great job! They completed the work and didn’t leave a mess. I called St Joseph’s Helpers a couple years ago and was very satisfied then, and that’s why I contacted them again.
A handrail was installed for 2 steps leading from the kitchen down to the landing. They were phenomenal! I am very thankful with the services and I thank everyone for being here. God bless and keep up the good work!
They installed a garbage disposal that I bought. They arrived early, which I appreciated because of the cold weather. I was very grateful.
They turned my Queen size mattress and helped put back the bed sheets and blankets. I was very satisfied with the work done. Everything went perfect!
My dishwasher worked but wouldn't drain. They fixed it and were wonderful! I enjoy the work that they did!
Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed on our St Joseph's Helpers Family.
May our lives reflect your faithfulness, and witness to your unfailing love. Guide us in our work together that all we do may be for your glory.
Send your holy spirit upon us and open our hearts to generously respond to your call. Keep us ever mindful of the mission and purpose of St Joseph's Helpers. Amen
Dear Lord, send down your mercy and your blessing upon us here and upon this house. May your angel of mercy watch over it and keep all who live here safe from harm. May he guide us into the fulfillment of your holy will, teaching us to observe what Christ has taught us. O Lord, grant us health and length of days, giving us from your generous hand all that we need to live well and wisely. Save all those who are in want or trouble of any kind. May this house be known as a place of joy and mercy, where the kindness of Christ becomes real for all who live here and who visit. Be merciful to us, Lord: For you are a merciful God, who loves mankind, and to you we ascribe glory: to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and forever Amen.
