Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

When the hustle and bustle of the season threaten to take my mind off the true meaning of Christmas, I need to find ways to help me pause, ponder, and reflect. After all, Christmas is so much more than the picture-perfect decorations, Amazon-inspired holiday things, and all the Hallmark movies.  For me, stepping away from all the things that distract me and spending just a little time with those in need, helps me focus

No matter what your holiday celebration looks like this year, I hope that you find the true love and joy of the season that will add depth, meaning, and a little bit of fun to your holiday season.  And when the festivities end, the family and friends return home, and all the decorations are put away, that we all can find a little time to spend on the “real work” of Christmas. The work of taking the hope and joy that Jesus brings and using it to heal the broken, provide for the needy, bring peace to our communities, and share hope in the darkness.  As this year comes to an end, thank you for sharing yourselves this season with those who St Joseph’s Helpers serves

Warmest Regards,

Tony Rosati

News & Updates

We are finally complete with two new features to our website.  The first upgrade you will notice is a “button” that will let you hear and see the many different videos and articles that SJH has been a part of our first year.  The second upgrade is for our volunteers to be able to “login” with their own username and passcode to select repairs in your area that you would like to volunteer for.  You will be notified in the following week by email with your user’s name and temporary passcode.  You will be able to personalize your own password.  We would appreciate your help and patience as we roll this new system out.  If you have any comments or questions, please reach out to us.

In other news, we are gaining momentum in processing our client’s requests.  We have set a goal of serving a minimum of 25 clients a week and with the efforts of our staff, office volunteers and field volunteers, we are achieving that goal!  Thanks to all of you that are making this possible.  Because of this effort, we anticipate that in 2024, we can set a goal of serving over 1000 people!

Finally, we will be offering monthly SJH items for purchase in the upcoming year.  Our first item is a very comfortable hoody with our gold logo.  The hoody comes in three colors, Navy, Black and Maroon.  If you are interested, the cost is $50.00.  Please send an email to SJHelpers.org if you are interested. Make sure you submit the size you want.

Our third upgrade is still in the works (and looks to be completed before the new year,) to add a button to the website where there will be an opportunity for members and friends of the St Jospeh’s Helpers Family to send your prayer requests to our website, where as a family, we will pray for your intention.
